We curate beaches, not catalogues.
ByTheBeach was born from a simple annoyance: booking "beachfront" and finding out it meant crossing an avenue. We made one rule and never negotiated it.
How it started
We used to plan trips for friends. Always the same fight: telephoto-lens photos, a "steps from the beach" that turned out to be a ten-minute walk, reviews that didn't match what we found when we arrived. One summer in Muro Alto changed that. We stayed somewhere the sea was, literally, twelve metres away. We came back convinced that was — not one more star — what needed guaranteeing. ByTheBeach is exactly that: go, see, and offer only what we'd sleep in ourselves.
How we choose
Four simple rules. If a place doesn't meet them, it doesn't make the list — no matter how nice it is.

We only list places we know well, one by one.

We don't fill a catalogue. We add a new destination only once we've been to know it.

No layers of middlemen. You book with us and with whoever hosts you.
Frequently asked questions
- Are you a travel agency?
- No. We select and explain the destination. Booking is completed on the resort's own system.
- Why are there only three places to stay?
- Because in Muro Alto there are only three equivalent apartment complexes that meet what we look for. We group the equivalent units: what's the same across all of them, we guarantee; what changes, we tell you.
- Can I choose a specific apartment?
- No. We guarantee the accommodation's characteristics; the unit is assigned from those available at check-in.
- What currency are prices shown in?
- Prices are shown in euros. The final payment is completed on the resort's system.
- How do you verify a place?
- We go, we stay there, we measure the walk to the beach and try the services. We come back at least once a year.
